Starr Partners has confirmed it will open a new office in Parramatta this month, in response to demand from entry-level buyers and young families.

Starr Partners’ new office is located at 4/459-463 Church Street, Parramatta, and will officially open its doors from today, 1 June.

The Parramatta arm will be headed up by Daniel Formosa as managing director, who currently manages the Starr Partners’ Blacktown office, and Mark Vella as its licensee. Combined, the pair have over 35 years’ experience operating in real estate.

Joining Mr Formosa and Mr Vella are husband and wife Greg Okladnikov and Antoinette Davino, who currently manage Starr Partners’ Auburn and Narellan offices.

Highly experienced new business and operations manager and Parramatta local Elise Nusco will also join its ranks.

Commenting on the office opening, Mr Formosa said the move comes at an opportune time, with Parramatta a key hub for development activity.

“Today, Parramatta is the cultural centre of Western Sydney, with a sensational art and dining scene, and excellent infrastructure, including train and ferry access to Sydney,” he said.

“The addition of Badgerys Creek airport will further unlock its potential as a thriving, second Sydney CBD. We’re excited about the opportunities that an office here will present for us.”

With the population of the City of Parramatta expected to increase by more than 250,000 people in the next 20 years, Mr Formosa added it’s “not surprising that the suburb has remained popular among the first home buyer market during the pandemic”.

“The Parramatta property market is very robust, with strong demand from first home buyers and families for both its mixed-use apartments close to Parramatta Square and leafier, suburban homes,” he explained.

“I believe that traffic congestion, overcrowding and a lack of open spaces in the inner suburbs of Sydney are motivating people to change their living arrangements according to their priorities.

“North Parramatta offers first home buyers the chance to invest in a little more space, well connected to Parramatta’s CBD by Church Street and a burgeoning dining scene.”

Commenting further, Starr Partners CEO Douglas Driscoll said: “It’s very unusual to have such incredible talent converge under the same roof. As a group, we’ve had a presence in Parramatta for nearly two decades, but this new elite team has the potential to reach new heights.”
