It’s been just over a year since Mark McGill made the decision to join the national brand, Eview Group, and launch his Queensland-based, self-titled agency, The McGill Group.

As a two-time REIQ award-winning agent, Mark McGill always knew a change in direction was going to be a big step after a decade of working within a single agency, however, his fierce desire to further develop his unique way of listing, marketing and selling real estate was too intense not to follow.

As part of seeking advice, Mark reached out to long-term friend Manos Findikakis, Co-founder and CEO of Eview Group, to run through the “real” numbers involved in running his own agency. It quickly became apparent to McGill that the up-front costs in setting up from scratch were far outweighed by the offering of Eview Group’s business model; removing many of the start-up costs and time delays in websites, business structures and CRM’s. Complimenting this, was the on-going advantages of provided administration systems, Trust-Accounting and the power-pull of a national network, still, with the complete freedom and flexibility to operate as planned, incorporating his own flair.

From signing paperwork, The McGill Group was back out into the marketplace offering sales and property management, within a few short weeks.

Always as intended, Mark’s signature workspace oozes a dynamic and contemporary style, doubling as a unique event space with regular wine events, and buzzing with a team of specialists dedicated to exceeding expectations across the Sunshine Coast, and expanding across south-east Queensland.

“As a real estate agent who loves to list and sell, the idea of developing a successful business was daunting, yet I was determined to achieve the flexibility, creativity and control that (up until now) only came from independent ownership. Eview Group has enabled me to operate with my own intentions, without having to reinvent the wheel, or outlay huge money, whilst providing a reassurance and commitment to all the back-end systems and structures, ultimately freeing up my time to enjoy the listing and selling aspect of my job”, Mark explains.

“Over the past 14 months I’ve been able to navigate a business I’m proud of, and retain all core values and operations as I initially intended”, Mark said. “A key focus for our brand has been to always engage specialists, rather than generalists, to ensure a refined and detailed approach to marketing. When I joined Eview Group, these relationships were encouraged, and I never felt pressure to use preferred suppliers. It was all up to me”, Mark continued.

Highlighting the recent additions to his expanding team, Mark notes, “It’s funny, when I initially joined Eview Group, I felt confident in my direction as an agent, not expecting to grow a team, I just wanted to offer a boutique and personalised offering to the marketplace that was more reflective of my personality.  But with agents now knocking on the doors, wanting to become part of the team...it’s exciting. And it feels great that we’ve managed to organically build a vibrant brand that is attracting local talent.”

For those seeking a new direction within the real estate industry, Mark truly believes there’s no competition, stating “Eview Group really over-delivered on what Manos and Maria initially promised. It’s been such a positive and fulfilling experience, one I never thought I’d have when first exploring a solo direction, but I’m so glad I did.”

If you are considering a real estate transition, yet unsure of where to begin or how to start, Manos and Maria Findikakis welcome a confidential conversation to help identify the right move for you. You can explore all that Eview Group has to offer here.
