A North Shore native and area specialist has made a big network move, teaming up with The Agency.
Nick Separovich, who has known the network’s real estate CEO Matt Lahood and group CEO Geoff Lucas for 10 years, said it was like “getting the band back together again”.
With more than 20 years of experience in the region and a speciality in the Chatswood, Willoughby, and Artarmon markets, Mr Separovich has built up a trusted reputation within the area, according to Mr Lahood and Mr Lucas.
“A born raconteur with a heart of gold, Nick has a natural and relatable warmth. Combined with his acumen and tireless energy for his clients, Nick has earned the respect, gratitude, and friendship of countless clients throughout his career,” Mr Lahood said.
Mr Lucas added: “Few agents can boast the skill and experience that Nick possesses across diverse market conditions and asset classes, demonstrated by his outstanding track record of success.”
His strong network in the region means Mr Separovich’s listings can often be spread far and wide, from Mosman to Hornsby, but it’s in his home suburb of Chatswood where his expertise lies – and where his career started.
Mr Separovich got his first job in real estate in a Chatswood agency off the back of a job advertisement in the Sydney Morning Herald.
Since then, he’s seen the locality transfigure over the past two decades, from “very much a working-class area” to what he now calls the crown jewel of Sydney’s North Shore.
“I remember as a kid, the biggest building in Chatswood was the Lemongrove building, which was just five storeys,” Mr Separovich recalled.
“Chatswood has become a CBD within Sydney. The area has transformed into a bustling hub with a landscape of high rise apartments and offices, shopping and a transportation interchange.”
He cited the area’s convenient location and lifestyle offerings as its key attractors.
“Chatswood, Willoughby, and Artarmon are so handy to the city and Parramatta, and you can pretty much be anywhere in Sydney in 20 minutes,” he noted.
Mr Separovich joins another long-time industry associate in embarking on this change. He’ll be banding together with property partner Jason Roach in covering the mid-North Shore, an agent he’s known for 15 years.
With his connections to the network helping to solidify the decision, Mr Separovich described the move as a natural fit.
“The Agency team are a group of wonderful people, and the agents they tend to attract are in the upper echelons in the industry. The referral work amongst ourselves is quite unique.”
