LJ Hooker Property Centre has completed a move into a new waterfront location in Queensland’s Raby Bay Harbour.

Featuring 900 square metres of space, the office features herringbone oak floors, planter walls and an outdoor terrace, which the agency’s director said had already increased office positivity through the marriage of productivity and wellness.

A key feature of the new fit-out is that each agent is provided with their own office, equipped with glass doors to induce both privacy and a sense of connection between agents and support staff. The office’s outdoor terrace can be used as an extra working space and also doubles as the location of the agency’s weekly pilates classes.

“It is a lovely feeling arriving at work and stepping into this beautiful space that has been specially created just for us,” LJ Hooker Property Centre managing director Iain Carmichael said.

“We put a lot of consideration into making it work for everyone. Agents like coming into our headquarters because they are well supported.”

He also believes the new space is symbolic of the continued growth of his current team and the agency’s expansion, stating: “We have been waiting for a space that would allow us to look after our current team, continue to grow and ensure a great experience for our customers.

“The move has taken the business to the next level of professionalism for both the agents and support staff. It has been designed to be very welcoming and will enable us to continue to deliver exceptional services.”

Stephen Mutton, head of network performance Australia, concluded that the exciting new space is representative of the branch’s success and will prove beneficial heading into the future.

“No doubt, the high-quality space will create an even more productive workplace and attract the best new talent, but also translate into better outcomes for the customers,” he said.
