Two agents in Sydney’s west have joined forces to launch their own business under the auspices of UrbanX.
David Perco and Bill Karamanlis’ new brand, InHaus Estate Agents, will service the Sydney suburb of Moorebank and its surrounding areas.
The duo gravitated to launching their own entity with the tech innovator’s support after years with traditional agencies, feeling it was time they were able to call the shots.
Mr Perco, who has 12 years of experience under his belt, said UrbanX’s model offered them the flexibility they were seeking.
“My biggest pain point working with a major network was not being able to implement my own ideas, without having to seek approval from the ‘lords’ above!” Mr Perco said.
He and Mr Karamanlis were impressed with the company’s back-end capabilities while giving them the freedom to run their own entity.
“After speaking with the team, it was the energy and the technology provided that excited us the most. The entire team want to see you succeed, from [chief executive and co-founder] Dan Argent all the way down and their passion makes you feel like a winner straight away, which is very exciting.
“It’s an amazing feeling knowing that when we are in a listing presentation or speaking to a vendor that we can make the decisions on the spot, without having to get approval or saying ‘we’ll have to get back to you’,” Mr Perco said.
