A longstanding Toukley real estate office has been absorbed by major real estate brand Harcourts, bringing extensive knowledge of a new market to the network.
Since 2008, Shaun Clayton has been leading the local LJ Hooker team in Toukley on the NSW Central Coast. But the retirement of his business partner in 2021 prompted Mr Clayton to look for a new direction for the business, which eventuated with his company becoming part of the Harcourts team.
“I had decided it was time to take us to the next level, to evolve the business and grow alongside the current trends in real estate,” said Mr Clayton.
“It soon became clear to me that Harcourts was the brand and franchise that could offer those opportunities to us, and we are very excited to join such a dynamic brand that isn’t afraid to be proactive and who truly care about their clients.”
“Our team is ready to move onto bigger and better things and join a new brand that is number two in Australia for its global size,” he added. “Harcourts was the brand that really stood out to me, they’re well placed to help us fill the gap we have in our digital space and are a fresh brand that holds our true values at heart.
“We will always go above and beyond for our clients and Harcourts can make that constantly happen for us.”
Katrina Tarrant, chief executive of Harcourts NSW/ACT, welcomed the exciting addition of the Toukley team to the brand, believing it is further emphasis of the firm’s people-first values.
