A real estate agency with its core footprint in Melbourne has continued its expansion throughout the metropolitan area, opening a brand-new office in the city’s east.

OBrien Real Estate has announced its new real estate office in Ringwood, 23 kilometres east of Melbourne’s central business district, to be headed up by directors Mark Brown and Christine Turner.

The office, formerly of Stockdale & Leggo, becomes the brand’s 35th in its 12 years of operation. This new addition means the brand is now only 15 short of securing the goal of boasting 50 offices throughout metropolitan Melbourne.

Mr Brown will add 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, including an extensive background in sales team management, to the OBrien brand. While Ms Turner will bring her 22 years of experience in the industry to drive the growth and development of the burgeoning office.

Mr Brown and Ms Turner are delighted to be using their wealth of local knowledge and expertise in Ringwood and its surrounding areas and will provide the region with a range of real estate services to assist the local community with their needs.

The pair proclaimed that their professional relationship with many members of the OBrien team over the years, including general manager Jason Mudford, meant the decision to join the brand was simple. They expressed their delight to be joining one of the most rapidly expanding real estate companies in Victoria.

The duo also cited many other factors that influenced their decision, including the brand’s emphasis on using its tools and resources to support its growing offices.

“We’ve loved working with them behind the scenes,” Ms Turner said, “and we’re very happy to be publicly associated with such a successful, young and fast-growing group”.

Mr Mudford stated that not only did the new group’s goals and ambitions align with the network’s, but their well-established network in the Ringwood region – an important area in the brand’s Melbourne expansion plans – is a huge benefit to the company.

“Christine and Mark have created a strong market presence in this area, and whilst the team have made a massive footprint into the market, [they] are constantly challenging themselves to be more innovative, push harder and expect more,” he said.

Located at 1/23 High Street Ringwood, the new OBrien’s office officially opens on 20 May 2022.
