A brand-new business partnership has facilitated one national real estate brand’s expansion into the north shore suburb of Roseville.

The RE/MAX Lead office in Roseville will be headed by the leadership team of experienced business owners Tom Leng and Carrie Chen.

Since 2009, when the pair founded the independent property consultancy Witz Holdings, their clientele and investor network had grown, further compounded in 2014 when they established Estar, a property management consultancy firm.

Mr Leng and Ms Chen’s decision to merge the two businesses was a key component of their partnership with RE/MAX and the subsequent formation of the Lead office in Roseville, with the combined skill set of the pair a key factor in propelling the business forward.

“Our point of difference is in the merging of our skill sets, expertise and knowledge, and clients will recognise RE/MAX Lead as an atypical real estate agency because of this,” Mr Leng said.

“My mortgage and finance background coupled with Carrie’s accounting and finance background gives us a unique advantage in how we assist our clients, and translates into smooth, stress-free sales transactions and investor advice on matters like tax benefits, for example.”

Mr Leng, who will take up the role of managing director at RE/MAX Lead, brings a strong background in property marketing, property sales and management as well as finance to the team.

As operations director, Ms Chen will provide a range of skills and experience to the business, including office management, business development, human resources, and recruitment, while having a major focus in property management and being active in sales.

Together, the pair hope their expertise and skills translate into success for the business and its clients, with Mr Leng stating his desire for “every client [to] feel they have service that is personal and tailored specifically for their needs and is across both real estate and finance”.

Ms Chen also said that the decision to join RE/MAX was aided by the brand’s capacity to grow their brand internationally, stating: “Along with establishing a leading presence in the Sydney north shore suburbs, joining RE/MAX gives opportunities to foster business with our home country, China, as well as the broader overseas market.”

Australian operations director for RE/MAX, Josh Davoren, has congratulated both Mr Leng and Ms Chan on their new business venture and helping the brand expand its reach in the upper north shore market.

“Real estate clients, be they sellers, buyers, investors or tenants, in Sydney north shore gain more opportunity for a quality real estate experience with the addition of the RE/MAX Lead team,” he said.
