The brand’s northside office will be re-energised by the appointment of its three new, experienced principals.

Industry leaders Drew Davies and Patrick McKinnon, who are also the joint principals of Place Ascot, will link up with Narelle Lorensen to become the joint principals of Place Nundah.

The trio’s move comes as former Place Nundah principal Steve Grimbas moves into the next chapter of his career after 18 years of business ownership, according to Place Estate Agents chief executive officer Damian Hackett.

Mr Hackett has assured that the trio would receive the full support of the Place head office team, which would allow for them to have a more streamlined focus on sales and client relations aspects of the real estate industry.

Ms Lorensen, who herself has 18 years of industry experience, including as director and lead agent at Place Nundah, said she is looking forward to working with Mr Davies and Mr McKinnon and the rest of the team in expanding on Mr Grimbas’ groundwork.

“We will be building on Steve’s strong groundwork and ensuring community is at the heart of everything we do,” she said.

For Mr McKinnon and Mr Davies, who took over the Place Ascot business in 2019 and have since increased its business by 800 per cent, the opportunity presents them with a chance to expand their footprint and continue to grow.

“We are excited to expand our northside footprint with community engagement our top priority,” said Mr Davies.

Mr McKinnon added: “Alongside Narelle, we are excited to grow this already popular office and take it to the next level of business.”

As well as four years of experience with Place, Mr McKinnon’s industry experience dates back to 2009 and includes a four-year stint as a sales manager at Coronis. Prior to Mr Davies’ three-year tenure with Place, which began in 2019, he spent three years as a real estate sales agent at McGrath and an additional two years as a sales partner at North South Real Estate.

Located north of Brisbane, Nundah is a suburb that has seen considerable property price growth over the past 12 months. The median house price has risen 33.3 per cent in that time period, now resting at $1,110,000, while the average dwelling in the area achieves a sale price of $430,000, emblematic of the 11.7 per cent growth seen in the last year.
