The portal giant has announced that former state sales director for NSW Belinda Sinclair will take up the role.

Boasting a 20-year career, Ms Sinclair has spent the past eight years plying her trade at Domain, including a nearly five-year stint as a sales manager.

Now, she takes on the post of Domain Residential national sales director.

Throughout her professional life, Ms Sinclair has developed longstanding relationships and a depth of real estate knowledge, which Domain hopes she harnesses in the new position.

Her primary focus will be centred on leading the residential sales business, and Domain has shared how she will be assisted by team members across the states and territories, as well as through partnering with the brand’s Agent solutions business.

Ms Sinclair said she is “excited to step up as the national sales director and further support agents in what matters most, to win their next listing, sell for the best possible price and build a profitable and sustainable business”.

She added: “Our goal is to partner with agents and add value at every step in the property journey by continuing to build on the incredible opportunity we at Domain have to grow our suite of solutions to better serve our real estate partners.

“I have huge respect for those that work in real estate, the landscape is continuously changing and I am looking forward to working together to help create an even better experience for the customers we help connect to property whether they are buyers, sellers, renters or landlords.”

Weighing in on the announcement, Domain chief revenue officer John Foong said Ms Sinclair “has been a brilliant leader in helping agents build their business and I’m excited to have someone so talented to focus on them and their customers”.

“In my time at Domain I’ve met with over 300 CEOs, principals and agents and there is a strong desire for closer partnership. That is why we are doubling down on helping agents be successful. We are proud of the relationships we have with our own customers, but we know there is always more we can do,” he said.

He concluded by saying, “this role is one of the many steps we are taking to live up to that opportunity”.
