The brand continues its city-wide expansion with the opening of its new Hawkesbury office, 46 kilometres from Sydney’s central business district.

The new outfit has been reported to be headed by experienced local agent Adam Buchert, who previously worked for the Starr Partners Network and will take up the role of principal at the fledgling office.

With over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry Mr Buchert said switching to Stone will ensure he and his team are able to deliver for their clients.

“The Stone brand is synonymous with quality and excellence, which is exactly what we aspire to,” he said.

“Joining the Stone family means that we can continue to provide our clients with the very best service possible. We’re also excited about the opportunities that being part of a larger network will bring.

“With over 60 offices across Australia, we’ll be able to tap into a wealth of knowledge and experience.”

Part of the rebranding will see the Stone Hawkesbury office merge with the well-established Kurmond office, which has been run by Cathy Walton for 13 years. It is a move that Mr Buchert labelled as a “no brainer”.

The huge Hawkesbury local government area encompasses approximately 3,000 square kilometres and is host to a wide variety of property types. The new Stone office enters a region where the median house price is $1,032,500, a figure that has grown by 37.66 per cent in the past two years.

Mr Buchert believes the variety of property types available means there is huge potential to be unlocked in the area, stating that “from two-bedroom units for $400,000 through to big homes on acres for $5 million, there really is something for everybody out there”.

“Right now, it’s the first home buyers who are driving our market due to affordability and lifestyle, but they are closely followed by investors who are again looking for affordable investments with positive yields,” he said.

Stone Real Estate head of franchise Luke Cameron said the group was extremely excited to welcome Mr Buchert and his team into the brand, concluding that “when it comes to servicing a diverse area like the Hawkesbury, local knowledge is incredibly important, and Adam’s trusted expertise made bringing the office on board an easy decision”.

The latest office announcement follows the recent extension of Stone Real Estate’s lower north shore presence.
