REB is proud to reveal its Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking for the eighth consecutive year.

The 2023 Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking champions top-performing female agents who have achieved outstanding sales numbers despite operating in a turbulent property market.

These agents are pioneers in their field and have set a benchmark for excellence that other agents could emulate.

The ranking not only recognises agents who have remained resilient and gone above and beyond for clients in their local area, but it also pushes them to win more listings.

The ranking is compiled from a range of metrics, including the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and the average sale value across the 2022 calendar year.

Each agent is ranked comparatively across these three metrics against their peers, with the combined comparative score used to determine the top-ranked Australian agents.

The top 50 agents sold 4,589 residential properties in 2022 for a combined value of a whopping $8.5 billion. Out of this, the top 10 agents made $2.7 billion from 1,137 properties sold.

On average, the top 50 agents secured 106 listings and sold 92 properties for the sum of $169.5 million, while the top 10 agents secured 147 listings and sold 114 properties for $272.4 million.

A comparatively subdued property market did not prevent an increase in the average sale price across the top 50 agents. It increased by over 28.2 per cent year-on-year to $2.2 million in 2022.

It also rose across the top 10 agents, from $2.2 million in 2021 to $2.5 million in 2022.

Commenting on the ranking, REB editor Grace Ormsby said:

“These women are at the absolute top of their game. Their drive, determination, and perusal of excellence have elevated them to the very highest level.

“It’s an honour to be able to showcase the efforts made by the women making huge strides in their respective marketplaces.

“On behalf of the entire team here at REB, I’d like to extend a massive congratulations to every single agent named in this year’s Top 50.”
