The real estate industry is being urged to submit into this year’s Top 100 Agents, the state-based Top 50 Agents, and the Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2024 rankings.

The REB rankings recognise the top-performing residential agents across Australia and has set the benchmark for excellence that other agents could aspire to emulate.

The rankings also shine a light on those agents who have gone above and beyond for their clients and built a strong presence in their local area, while securing a ranking could underpin career advancement for individual professionals.

The rankings and reports also provide insight into the trends and opportunities in the real estate profession, as well as the property market.

Agents are ranked comparatively across key metrics, including the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold, and the average sale price across a 12-month period.

Each agent is then assigned a combined comparative score, which is used to determine the top-ranked agents in the country.

The agents who are successful will be recognised for their outstanding achievements and contribution to the industry in the rankings.

The Top 100 Agents rankings now in its 13th year identify the top Australian residential agents who have achieved stellar numbers across the assessment period by using sales, listings and volume.

The Top 50 Agents state-based rankings, which began in 2021, are targeted at real estate professionals working across NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

These rankings acknowledge agents across the country, in recognition that no two property markets are identical.

Finally, for the ninth consecutive year, the Top 50 Women in Real Estate will reward the top female real estate professionals who have offered stellar customer service and achieved exceptional results in the residential property space.

For the three ranking sets, agents will be asked to submit data from their settled residential sales for the 2023 calendar year, on which the ranking will be based.

Following this, agents will be ranked based on a range of criteria, including:

  • Number of residential listings secured
  • Number of residential property settlements
  • Value of residential property settlements
  • Average commission rate
  • Average days on market
  • Support staff
  • Years in the industry

Agents entering the rankings will also have the opportunity to enter into REB’s Top 50 Women in Real Estate 2024 and the Top 50 Agents NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA 2024 rankings, if eligible.

REB will reveal the top agents’ rankings on May 2024.

REB editor, Grace Ormsby, is excited to once again be able to recognise the agents operating at the absolute top of their game.

“Each of these three rankings forms the benchmark for agent success across Australia. Not only does it highlight the hard work and diligence at play within the profession, it also offers up-and-coming agents a standard to which they can compare themselves. For any agent striking for improvement, this ranking is the one to not only watch, but participate in!”
