Two Brisbane agents have combined their personal and professional lives, and they have learned a lot of lessons along the way.

Young Brisbane couple Ryan Lim and Lauren Tang have had a steep learning curve over their joint real estate career.

Working with your partner might seem to go against age-old wisdom, but Lim and Tang believe that the positives outweigh the negatives.

In their early work together as sales agents, the pair have experienced significant success, selling 18 properties during their first year of real estate with an average price of $840,000.

Now, the couple have joined Place Annerley as they get ready to start the next chapter in their careers.

It’s a move which Lim said aligns with their long-held goal of joining “a reputable brand known for it’s high-performing teams.”

Tang believes that she and Lim’s close personal bond will further expand the quality of service they can offer their new Annerley clients, stating: “Beyond our professional achievements, our personal partnership enhances our ability to provide exceptional service.”

In particular, the couple noted that “an innate understanding of each other’s strengths and communication styles” allows them to collaborate with greater ease.

Where other colleagues may take longer to familiarise themselves with each other’s communication styles, Lim and Tang’s existing experience with each other removes this barrier and allows for “seamless communication.”

Another advantage of working alongside your partner, according to the young couple, is a strong foundation of mutual trust.

While other coworkers may take time to build a strong working relationship, Lim and Tang already have “full confidence in each other’s abilities, allowing them to delegate tasks effectively and work together seamlessly.”

The pair also cited shared goals as another factor that allows them to reach new heights in their real estate.

They noted that they have “shared professional and personal goals, creating a sense of unity and purpose in their work.”

This alignment means that Lim and Tang are “always working towards the same objectives” which further powers their success.

Finally, the two stated that they bring “complementary skills to the table,” allowing them to balance each other out and provide more “comprehensive support” to their clients.

“We are thrilled to join Place Annerley and contribute to its legacy of excellence,” stated Lim.

“The supportive environment and exceptional resources provided by Place perfectly aligns with our vision for growth and success,” he concluded.
