The mortgage settlement and legal services provider Lextech has made a series of leadership appointments that will help to support the company’s continued growth.
To support its ongoing growth expansion, Lextech has appointed Peter Maloney as the company’s new CEO.
Maloney brings comprehensive insights from his previous role as the CEO and managing director of property and legal tech provider Global X, and as the managing director of the legal software company Dye & Durham.
Through his over 20 years of experience across Australia’s financial, legal and property sectors, Maloney will help to generate growth for Lextech and its creator and owner, financial services firm Purcell Partners.
Founder and director of Purcell Partners, Simon Purcell, said Maloney’s appointment would bring experience in mortgage settlement and technology that spans both the legal and financial sectors.
“Peter has been a transformative force in scaling some of Australia’s most influential technology brands at the crossroads of finance, property and law, and will be instrumental in advancing Lextech’s capabilities and customer success,” Purcell said.
With the newly appointed Maloney now leading Lextech, Purcell further noted that his leadership would enhance the company’s operations process.
“His strategic vision will shape Lextech’s future, driving innovation and efficiency to deliver unmatched value for our customer, Australia’s lenders and indeed property owners,” Purcell said.
Lextech also appointed Rafe Berding as its new chief growth officer, who brings diverse industry knowledge from his time in the legal, banking, conveyancing and government sectors.
Thanks to his previous experience servicing high-compliance and regulatory-driven industries, Berding will look to enhance the precision and integrity in Lextech’s operations.
Additionally, Jason Popkowski was appointed as Lextech’s head of sales, where he will focus on driving customer success and innovation.
As the former general manager of financial services at Dye & Durham, and the client service manager at the NSW Land Registry Service, Popkowski will bring a customer-centric approach to Lextech.
