Capricorn Coast-based agency @ Real Estate has announced the acquisition of Emu Park’s Seachange Realty, marking an expansion of its presence across the region.
The move sees @ Real Estate, founded in 2016 by Natalie and Troy Gesler, add a second office to its portfolio, building on the success of its Yeppoon base.
The new Emu Park office is expected to strengthen the agency’s visibility and accessibility, particularly at the southern end of the coast.
Seachange Realty has been led by Roy Thwaite, who now retires after more than four decades in the industry. Thwaite began his real estate career in 1984 and has spent the last 16 years establishing a strong local presence in Emu Park.
“We’re honoured to carry on the legacy Roy has built,” said Natalie Gesler, principal and co-owner of @ Real Estate. “He’s been a pillar of the Emu Park real estate scene, and we’re committed to continuing that service with the care our coast deserves.”
The existing Emu Park team will remain in place, with the Geslers pledging to maintain a hands-on presence across both offices.
“We’ve always been passionate about the entire Capricorn Coast,” Natalie said. “Opening an office in Emu Park simply reflects what we’ve already been doing – serving the full region with love, strategy and a whole lot of energy. This makes it even easier for our community to reach us, walk in, and get the support they need.”
Since its launch with a team of five, @ Real Estate has grown to 16 staff and has become an active player in the local business ecosystem, leading a networking group with more than 1,300 members.
“This expansion is about more than just real estate,” said Natalie. “It’s about continuing to show up for our community, making property decisions easier and helping people thrive in their property journey. That’s what we love most about what we do.”
