Harcourts has bolstered its presence in South Australia with the launch of a new office in Adelaide, unveiling Harcourts Shine, offering both sales and property management.
The new office will be led by Sumesh Ghimire, who brings a purpose-driven mindset to the business.
“At Harcourts Shine, community is at the heart of everything we do. We support local initiatives and charities, both here and abroad,” he said.
“One of our partners even helped establish a school in a remote part of Nepal, while others have longstanding commitments to sponsoring underprivileged children and backing local causes. We believe in making a difference beyond property and giving back wherever we can.”
Harcourts Shine also brings onboard property manager and sales agent Ryan Narayan, who said the team’s values are closely aligned with those of the Harcourts brand.
“Harcourts stood out to us because of its values: integrity, transparency, and community. It’s not just about transactions – it’s about people and doing the right thing, every time. When the opportunity arose to launch Harcourts Shine, it felt like the perfect fit. It gave us the platform to bring our own style, energy, and client-focused service to the local market under a respected and values-aligned brand.”
Heather Edwards, CEO of Harcourts South Australia, welcomed the new team and said the office is poised to make a powerful impression on the Adelaide market.
“I’m looking forward to working with this exciting new team and seeing the impact Harcourts Shine will undoubtedly make in the local market,” she remarked.
It comes as Harcourts opened an additional office in South Australia, with the opening of Harcourts Coast & Vines, which will be led by sixth-generation Willunga local, Corey Michelmore.
Harcourts said Michelmore brings a deep connection to Willunga and its surroundings, with his family’s history in the area extending back to the 1850s when the Michelmore family began managing dairy and beef cattle farms.
By growing up on a beef cattle property in Willunga, Michelmore was able to develop the strong work ethic and in-depth area insights that have equipped him for success during his 25-year career in property sales and management.
Harcourts said Michelmore’s involvement in the Willunga community also extends beyond property, through his previous work as a committee member of the Willunga Business & Tourism Association, and continued support of various local community groups and sporting clubs.
Michelmore said the opening of the new Coast & Vines office held personal significance to him, allowing him to continue his family’s legacy in Willunga and the surrounding areas.
