The independent Brisbane agency secures a top agent and multilingual team, doubling the sales division and cementing dominance in Robertson’s high-end property market.
Brisbane real estate agency Aurora Property have announced the addition of high-performing agent John Heng and his team, continuing its expansion into the city’s south.
The addition of this five-person team has seen Aurora’s sales division increase in size to 22, marking a 100 per cent increase in size over the past 12 months.
With over a decade of experience, Heng has been leading the Brisbane southside Robertson market, selling over $100 million in high-end properties in FY25 – a feat that saw Heng named in Ray White’s Chairman’s Elite Performer group, placing him in the top 1 per cent performers in the network.
Aurora Property Queensland director of sales, Charles Higgins, said Heng’s multilingual team will accelerate the network’s expansion in the Western Brisbane property market.
“In Robertson, where competition has driven the median price to $2.14 million since COVID, John has cemented himself as the dominant agent with top market share and a $3 million average sale price,” Higgins said.
Heng brings with him a multilingual team to Aurora, including Toto Liu, Giles Chen, JJ Macalino, and Kay Keo, enabling the team to converse with clients in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Filipino, Cambodian, and Malay.
Heng said the move to Aurora will focus on servicing existing and prospective clients in the Robertson area.
“Charles has established a first-class training program for Aurora Property, which my team will take advantage of. I’ll be able to apply the training when coaching my team in day-to-day activities,” he said.
“Many Robertson investors already know and trust the Aurora brand, and we look forward to building on that foundation,” Heng concluded.
