RT Edgar has expanded into Essendon, doubling down on the north Melbourne market.

RT Edgar has unveiled their new Essendon office and announced longstanding agent, Steve Sfindilis, as director as the group expands their northern suburbs presence.

Sfindilis, who was formerly a partner at RT Edgar Northcote, made the move over to RT Edgar’s new Essendon branch, in a bid to continue his career growth with the network.

“RT Edgar’s reputation, its premium service model, and the calibre of leadership across the group made it the right place to take this next step,” Sfindilis said.

Franchise manager at RT Edgar, Georgia Turner, who herself joined RT Edgar in March, said the move was a clear reflection of the group’s values and vision.

“Steve’s journey is the perfect example of our investment in building future leaders,” Turner said.

“We’re deeply committed to providing real opportunities for development.

“The launch of Essendon is not only a reflection of Steve’s progression, but also a powerful sign of the driving force across the brand.”

The opening of an Essendon office in addition to their existing Northcote location strengthens RT Edgar’s presence in Melbourne’s northern corridor and forms a key part of the company’s growth strategy in Melbourne’s high-performing suburbs.

Sfindilis, who has almost a decade of residential sales and auctioneering experience, said the decision to open a branch in the Essendon area was the natural next step for the group.

“The area is home to some of the north’s finest properties, and we’re seeing real momentum across this corridor.”

RT Edgar said the Essendon office will focus on premium service, and in delivering a community-focused approach in the area and its surrounds.
