A Far North Queensland agent has re-established a REMAX office in Cairns, after one of his former agencies rebranded.
Tony Williamson first launched a REMAX office in the Far North Queensland city in 2004, selling it two years later before reopening again in 2010. Following another exit in 2019, he has once again signed on with the international network.
The move follows one of his former offices rebranding.
“I bleed red, white and blue,” Williamson said.
“REMAX is an icon of the real estate industry globally. The largest in the world and still the brand that sells more real estate than any other. I’m very excited to be bringing REMAX back to Cairns and with that comes even better results for sellers and investors in the Far North.”
He said the network’s international profile was a strong fit for the region.
“We have visitors from across the globe who instantly recognise the brand. That familiarity gives us an edge. People see the brand they know and trust; it’s iconic. That global recognition really positions us differently and establishes us as true players within the international market.”
Welcoming Williamson back, REMAX Australia managing director Joel Davoren said his return marked a major boost for the Cairns market.
“Tony has always been a fervent and vocal advocate for REMAX, not just locally, but on national and international stages. It’s great to see REMAX Real Estate Services return to Cairns, with Tony at the helm,” Davoren said.
“REMAX has always had a strong presence in Cairns, and we’re thrilled to see the brand represented once again in this key market.”
