Place Estate Agents has opened a new office in South Brisbane, strengthening its local presence, with the network planning further expansion ahead of the 2032 Olympics.
With over 10 years of experience in Brisbane, real estate agent Michael Hatzifotis will run the new Place office located in Brisbane’s West Village precinct.
Hatzifotis said the South Brisbane suburbs are experiencing high demand as buyers seek to get a foothold ahead of the upcoming Olympics.
“4101 is emerging as a key gateway to the Olympics, and the growth and development in the area makes South Brisbane, West End and Highgate Hill incredibly attractive locations to buy, invest and sell in right now,” Hatzifotis said.
Place CEO Damian Hackett said the decision to open the new office was indicative of the group’s strategy to work alongside top agents and scale with purpose.
“Michael has built a reputation as one of Brisbane’s most trusted and high-performing agents. His energy, honesty and commitment to his clients are second to none,” Hackett said.
Hackett said the expansion was a reflection of the group’s confidence in Brisbane’s real estate market, with further expansion planned in the coming years.
“Our growth is measured and strategic as we look ahead to 2032, with new offices planned across Brisbane and beyond,” he said.
Hatzifotis said that opening his own office under the Place banner has been a longstanding goal.
”Working under the strong leadership of Simon and Courtney Caulfield at Place Kangaroo Point over the past eight years has equipped me with the discipline, skills and insights to thrive in my own office in the areas I service,” Hatzifotis said.
He added the new office will deliver a transparent approach when servicing clients in the area.
“That’s what motivates me, and that’s what this office will stand for,” Hatzifotis concluded.
