Real estate network Harcourts has announced the appointment of a new CEO for NSW and the ACT, marking the brand’s commitment to strengthening its presence in eastern Australia.

Harcourts has announced that Andrew McCulloch will lead the NSW and ACT branch, bringing over 20 years of leadership experience developed across Australia and New Zealand to the role.

Through his decades of experience, McCulloch has operated his own franchise and led state teams, which the network said positioned him well to support the network’s growth strategy.

McCulloch said he plans to deliver tailored strategies for both individuals and agencies.

“My approach is to ask business owners what they want, not tell them what they should have,” McCulloch said.

He said that adopting a collaborative approach would boost accountability, as owners play a role in creating their customised partnership plans.

Harcourts Australia CEO Adrian Knowles said McCulloch’s fresh perspective would play a valuable part in driving the network’s expansion.

“His proven experience and collaborative approach align perfectly with our values and growth ambitions for the region,” Knowles said.

“With a strong foundation in leadership and a genuine commitment to collaboration, Andrew is poised to make a lasting impact within the Harcourts community.”

McCulloch said that he comes into his new role with plans to expand the network’s local engagement across the state.

“I’ve always believed in giving back to the community and look forward to supporting local initiatives through Harcourts,” McCulloch said.
