LJ Hooker has announced its expansion in Sydney’s north-west with a new Riverstone location, strengthening its presence in the fast-growing area.

LJ Hooker has expanded its presence in Sydney’s north-west, with the Schofields brand opening a new Riverstone office led by director Sanjeev Kumar.

The Riverstone location will mark the second office opened by Kumar, who joined the LJ Hooker network six years ago as a remote agent before opening a shopfront a year later.

Kumar said that his ownership journey with the network had been filled with “pinch-me” moments.

“When we started, it was just me and my wife Eshna; we never thought we would reach this size or look after rentals, but that is what the brand helped us to achieve,” Kumar said.

“LJ Hooker helped me to become a leader by teaching me how to grow a great team, build relationships and recruit the right people.”

LJ Hooker head of network Australia, Chris Keating, said that the addition of a new office was well-timed to capitalise on the area’s diverse buyer interest.

“We pride ourselves on partnering with the right people in key markets, and this is a great example of that,” Keating said.

“The north-west growth corridor has become a hotspot for families, investors, and new development.”

While operating as two separate locations, Kumar said that the offices will work collaboratively and provide a combined service to the region.

“Without giving too much away, I think our culture is what sets us apart from other businesses – we have a great team and a strong work ethic.”

“There is no battling it out with other offices; instead, we have developed a strong rapport with other agents and valuable support within the network,” Kumar concluded.
