NSW Fair Trading has suspended former top-selling agent Josh Tesolin’s licence for an additional 120 days, citing ongoing investigations into alleged breaches of underquoting laws and conduct rules linked to a “commission incentivising scheme”.
The move follows a substantial investigation into Tesolin and entities connected to him, including Tesolin Consulting Pty Ltd.
Authorities allege the company engaged in underquoting on more than 100 residential properties, dummy bidding, producing false documentation, and using high-pressure sales tactics.
Tesolin, whose original suspension ended on 6 December, has been issued a supplementary show-cause notice. He must respond by 5pm on 27 January 2026, explaining why disciplinary action should not be taken.
The notice further alleges that Tesolin continued operating as a real estate agent while his licence was suspended, prompting regulators to extend the suspension originally issued on 9 August.
“NSW Fair Trading has issued real estate agent Joshua James Tesolin with a supplementary show-cause notice, and a notice to suspend his license for 120 days. Mr Tesolin is required to show cause by 5pm on 27 January 2026 as to why disciplinary action should not be taken,” a NSW Fair Trading spokesperson said.
“NSW Fair Trading has determined that Mr Tesolin may have engaged in incidences of underquoting and breaching the rules of conduct in relation to the offering a ‘commission incentivising scheme’.”
“The show-cause notice further alleges that Mr Tesolin was carrying on the business of a real estate agent when his licence was suspended.”
