Gold Coast Commercial Real Estate (GCCRE) has announced the renewal of its partnership with locally based National Rugby League (NRL) team, the Gold Coast Titans, for a further two years.

After opening as a locally owned business two decades ago, GCCRE initially became the official real estate partner of the Gold Coast-based side in 2024 and has now extended the agreement through the end of 2027.

GCCRE principal Jo Bailey-Green said that over the past two years, the partnership has increased the brand’s visibility in the local market while supporting community and sport initiatives.

“I wanted to think about how we could get our brand in front of different eyes as well as networking with local businesses and a wider reach into the community,” Bailey-Green told REB.

“It is a different way to get eyes on our brand rather than just doing the same things as everybody else.”

“That was my thought process, and it will continue over the next couple of years to make sure our brand is constantly being drip-fed in different places.”

Bailey-Green said the partnership has helped them connect with more local businesses and boost their advertising, significantly expanding their reach.

Additionally, GCCRE director Steve O’Connell told REB the partnership highlighted the brand's support for local sport and community initiatives, as well as the Titans’ impact in the region on and off the field.

“We prefer to go local rather than with a national or international company when we conduct our business,” O’Connell said.

“We like to support local in every way when we purchase something.”

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the renewal was a given as the network and the team shared the same values.

"The next two years promise exciting opportunities for GCCRE and the Titans, and we look forward to delivering meaningful outcomes for businesses, supporters, and the broader Gold Coast community together," Mitchell said.

In addition to backing the NRL team, Bailey-Green said GCCRE has been engaged in several community initiatives that reflect a strong local, homegrown spirit.

“I think it adds value to our ethos that we are a local business, not a big corporation,” Bailey-Green concluded.
