A rent roll specialist has named a new associate director in Victoria to boost its operations and provide greater support to real estate business owners in the state.
Pendium Advisory has appointed veteran real estate professional Stefan Deffert as associate director in Victoria, as the firm expands its presence in the state.
With over three decades of industry experience, Deffert brings hands-on expertise in sales, property management, project coordination, business acquisitions, and advisory services, as well as establishing his own agency.
According to Pendium Advisory, Deffert’s background in acquiring, developing, and selling real estate businesses will help him cater to the challenges and opportunities Victorian principals encounter, especially in transitions and succession planning.
The firm added that his strong commercial insight and skill will be key in helping business owners navigate complex, high-stakes decisions.
Pendium Advisory managing director, Mark Sinclair, said that adding Deffert to its Victorian team was an easy decision as the business prepares to grow in the state.
“His experience, reputation and strategic mindset enhance the level of service we deliver, ensuring Victorian clients have access to specialist support from preparation through to completion,” Sinclair said.
In his new role, Deffert will lead Pendium’s Victorian division, overseeing rent roll and agency valuations, real estate business and rent roll brokering, and strategic advisory for growth, transition, and succession.
Deffert said that joining the firm was a natural progression, having experienced the ins and outs of the industry.
“I’ve worked across every stage of the real estate business lifecycle – owning, acquiring and selling – and Pendium is the advisory partner I wish existed earlier in my career.”
“I’m looking forward to supporting Victorian principals to make informed decisions, maximise value and move forward with confidence,” Deffert concluded.
