REA continues to kick goals with the Sydney Swans

The online real estate platform has announced the extension of its long-standing partnership with the AFL, extending its support to the AFLW side as part of the new partnership agreement.

The REA Group has announced the renewal of its partnership with Australian Football League (AFL) club, the Sydney Swans, agreeing to a new three-year collaboration.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, which will run through the 2027–2029 seasons, REA will retain its branding on the back of the club’s jersey and on stadium signage at home games.

 
 

While the brand’s logo currently appears only on the men’s side, the real estate platform will extend its support to the Swan’s women’s team as of 2027.

As the brand marks its 10th season of partnership with the Swans, REA Group general manager, audience and marketing, Sarah Myers, said the renewed agreement was an indication of the strength of the collaboration.

“We’re incredibly proud to be marking this 10-year milestone with a new long-term commitment,” Myers said.

“Over the past decade, our partnership with the Swans has been a powerful platform, helping us build brand love and trust with property-obsessed Sydneysiders.”

Sydney Swans CEO Matthew Pavlich said the brand’s logo had become part of an important part of the guernsey over the decade.

“realestate.com.au has become a familiar and much-loved part of our iconic red and white guernsey and we’re excited that it will extend to our AFLW team from 2027,” Pavlich said.

Myers said that supporting the AFL club formed a significant part of the platform’s branding.

“Combining two of Australia’s favourite pastimes – property and sport – continues to be a winning play and is a key part of our broader marketing mix,” Myers concluded.
