A real estate agent, allegedly accused of urging a former colleague to take her own life before passing her details to funeral homes, has appeared in court carrying a Bible.

Sydney real estate agent Adrian Bruno, 38, has appeared in Burwood local court for allegedly sending disturbing, explicit emails to former female colleagues between June 2025 and February 2026.

In total, Bruno has been charged with 20 offences, including 17 counts of sending menacing, harassing, or offensive messages, one count of sending messages encouraging suicide, one count of using false information for benefit, and one count of damaging property.

The court heard that Bruno allegedly sent graphic and confronting emails to Ray White’s female real estate professionals.

Some of the threatening emails allegedly urged one woman to take her own life, including the method she should use.

He then allegedly forwarded her details to funeral homes to organise services.

Additionally, the court heard that Bruno allegedly provided false information about a colleague to management in an attempt to tarnish her reputation.

He is also alleged to have damaged another woman’s vehicle.

Two former colleagues have been granted interim apprehended violence orders to safeguard them.

It is unclear whether Bruno was employed by Ray White at the moment of the alleged offences.

He appeared for the first time at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday morning, clutching a Bible and successfully requesting an adjournment to seek legal advice.

The matter is set to return to court on 14 April, when he is expected to enter pleas.
