Raine & Horne has announced the launch of a new Ipswich branch, strengthening its presence in one of the country’s fastest-growing cities.

The new office, located in Ripley, will be led by Suresh Sapkota and increase the brand’s presence in Ipswich’s fastest-growing suburbs.

Sapkota, a career switcher, began his real estate journey after working in hospitality across multiple continents, eventually settling in Australia and joining the industry.

Already maintaining a large presence in the Indian and Nepalese communities, Sapkota said the switch to the network would support his continued growth and extend his reach to a new client base.

“Many of my clients come from the Nepalese and Indian communities, which I’m very proud to support,” he said.

“By joining Raine & Horne, I now have the platform, brand and systems to expand into the wider market and connect with more buyers and sellers across the region.

Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said that the office was a growth opportunity for the network.

“Ripley is one of the most exciting emerging suburbs in Southeast Queensland, underpinned by new housing development, strong population growth and proximity to major employment hubs such as Brisbane,” Raine said.

With a median house price of $840,000 following a 13.5 per cent jump in house values, Sapkota said Ripley was seeing significant interest from a variety of buyer types.

“Located near Springfield, Ripley is emerging as a major master planned community, with strong population growth, new housing supply and increasing demand from both local and interstate investors and owner-occupiers.”

“On the demand front, buyers are split roughly 50:50 between investors and owner-occupiers, including strong interest from first-home buyers,” Sapkota concluded.
