Colliers has supercharged its Brisbane office leasing team with two appointments, bringing global expertise and Olympic experience to the network.
Colliers Queensland has appointed Piers Nickalls as its newest national director of office leasing and Cameron Clark as office leasing executive.
Nickalls joins the network with more than 30 years of international commercial real estate experience with Savills and Related Argent, and returns to Colliers following a stint in an international office.
Nickalls said he would leverage his prior experience in the industry with large-scale commercial assets to capitalise on the growth of Brisbane’s CBD office market.
“I’ll be working with clients to shape leasing strategies that respond to evolving occupier demand, anticipate shifts in Brisbane’s market, and attract tenants through targeted engagement and data-led insights,” Nickalls said.
Clark combines a commercial and strategic background in partnerships and consulting with a career in high-performing sports, having represented Australia in Rugby Sevens at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
He said that his experience enabled him to understand both landlord and occupier drivers and align property decisions with broader business objectives.
Colliers Queensland office leasing national director Shane Van Beest said that the appointment of the duo cemented the network’s commitment to enhancing its position in Brisbane’s office sector.
“Piers is an accomplished property professional with a proven track record in shaping precinct identity, securing global occupiers, and aligning leasing strategies with long-term placemaking outcomes,” Van Beest said.
“Cameron’s ability to combine commercial insight with a relationship-driven approach makes him a valuable addition to the team.”
“His unique background brings a fresh perspective to office leasing in Brisbane’s CBD.”
