One Agency has announced the expansion of its presence in South Australia, with an experienced duo of property valuers opening the network’s newest office in Adelaide’s CBD.

The network has launched One Agency Adelaide CBD, which will be led by director duo Andrew Skilbeck and Mark Robins.

The pair brings more than 35 years of experience in valuation, advisory, sales, and development roles within national and global real estate services.

Skillbeck has spent over a decade as a registered valuer, operating across a wide range of South Australian markets, while Robins has previously owned and operated two real estate businesses and worked in off-the-plan sales.

Robins said the decision to launch a business under the One Agency banner came after several collaborations with the network and was driven by Skilbeck’s desire to open his own agency.

“Andrew and I have known each other for some time, and when the topic came up of going into business together, we knew that now was the right time,” Robins said.

He said the duo’s combination of experience and complementary skills allowed them to provide a unique approach to the real estate market.

“It’s not every day that a real estate agent can offer their clients a property appraisal as a registered valuer.”

The agency opening comes as Adelaide’s median prices surpass $1 million, with a planned development in the CBD to deliver more than 700 apartments, along with commercial and office opportunities.

Skilbeck said the market was already experiencing high levels of interest from a wide range of buyers in the city’s more affordable property market.

“We are still seeing strong levels of market activity across Adelaide in the sub-$800,000 price range, in which the most active participants are first home buyers, developers and downsizers,” Skilbeck said.

One Agency founder and CEO, Paul Davies, said the new office would be well-positioned to serve Adelaide’s next phase of growth, drawing on the pair’s diverse experience and market knowledge.

“Their experience gives them a highly informed perspective on the Adelaide market, and we are very pleased to welcome them as they launch One Agency Adelaide CBD,” Davies concluded.
