A property valuation and advisory firm has announced the appointment of a new chief economist to strengthen its market insight and research capabilities.
Herron Todd White has announced the appointment of economist Cameron Kusher as the firm’s new chief economist.
Kusher brings more than two decades of experience analysing Australia’s property market to the role, having previously held roles with Cotality and REA Group.
Herron Todd White chief executive officer Peter Maloney said the appointment of Kusher would allow the business to continue delivering timely and evidence-based insights to help clients navigate the changing market.
“His depth of knowledge, analytical expertise and ability to clearly communicate market trends will be an enormous asset to our clients, our people and the broader industry,” Maloney said.
Maloney said that Kusher would work closely with the firm’s property advisory, data insights and valuation teams as part of his new role.
Kusher said he was joining Herron Todd White at a time of significant change in the property sector.
“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s research and thought leadership capabilities, while building on the strong expertise within Herron Todd White,” Kusher said.
“Helping translate data into meaningful insights provides a clearer understanding of the economic and market forces shaping the residential and commercial property markets across the country.”
