Barry Plant has announced the appointment of a new sales manager as the network looks to strengthen its presence on Victoria’s Bass Coast.

The network has announced that sales executive Bec Anderson will join the leadership team at the Phillip Island office and support the sales team at San Remo.

Anderson brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the network, including being named the region’s number one agent, and returns to real estate following an 18-month break to focus on her family.

“I still felt when I left the industry that I had so much more to give to our local community and to the sales space,” Anderson said.

“I can share my wisdom without actually being on the frontline and coach new staff, help them recruit, and still be there to support them.”

She said her decision to align with Barry Plant was driven not just by a desire to rejoin the industry but also by the opportunity to make an impact.

“It’s about elevating our presence and reputation across the region, strengthening the team we already have and growing it further.”

Anderson said her primary focus was on increasing the network’s market share in Victoria’s Bass Coast.

“My sights are set on dominating the local market. I’d love for our team to strive for number one in local market share,” she said.

In addition to building the office’s market share, Anderson will also look to expand the brand’s digital and social media presence and support long-term growth through cadet development.

The two offices are part of Barry Plant’s four-agency Bass Coast network, alongside Wonthaggi and Inverloch, with an additional sales manager overseeing the other locations.

Barry Plant franchise development manager Ben Burling said the addition of Anderson provided a significant boost to the network’s Bass Coast services.

“Bec is an incredibly well-respected real estate professional, and any business would be fortunate to have her on board,” Burling said.
