A proptech-focused “pay later” system has expanded its property management division with a new senior appointment aimed at driving growth and industry engagement across Australia and New Zealand.

Real Flow has announced the appointment of Kasey McDonald as head of property management – Australia and New Zealand, as the business expands its focus on property management and landlord solutions.

McDonald brings more than 27 years of experience across real estate, proptech, and corporate leadership roles to the non-bank lender.

Over her career, she has held roles with major real estate networks and training organisations, as well as property insights platforms.

In her new role, McDonald said she would focus on growth, strategy and industry engagement on both sides of the Tasman.

“Property management businesses play such a critical role within the real estate ecosystem, and there is a real opportunity to better support agencies, property managers and landlords through smarter financial and operational solutions,” McDonald said.

She said she would look to bring the businesses’ focus and innovation, which it had already shown in real estate cash flow, to its property management division.

Real Flow CEO Justin Steer said the appointment of McDonald marked a significant step in the company’s expansion in the property management sector.

“We recognise that property management has often been the forgotten cousin of the industry, despite being the backbone of agencies across Australia and New Zealand.”

“This appointment represents a significant investment into supporting PM businesses and landlords with solutions specifically designed for their needs,” Steer concluded.
