A real estate network has continued to show its support for key local charities, bringing its total funds raised to more than seven figures over the past five years.
Raine & Horne has raised more than $100,000 for farmers and rural communities as part of their latest charity initiative through Rural Aid’s Matched Giving Day campaign on 4–6 June.
The network promised to match every dollar pledged to the charitable cause, ultimately resulting in a $50,000 donation.
The latest initiative brought the network’s fundraising efforts for Rural Aid to $175,000, bringing the total over the past five years to more than $1.1 million for several charity organisations.
Over the years, the network continued its commitment to supporting important Australian and international causes through its latest fundraising efforts for Rural Aid.
The network has partnered with Rural Aid since 2023, supporting the organisation in providing practical assistance, mental health services, and disaster recovery programs for regional and rural communities.
Raine & Horne executive chairman Angus Raine said the ongoing partnership reflected its commitment to producing a lasting social impact.
“Rural communities are the backbone of the Australian economy, yet many farming families continue to face extraordinary challenges,” Raine said.
“We believe this partnership (with Rural Aid) will help strengthen the resilience of rural and regional Australia while creating a lasting positive impact for farming families facing difficult circumstances.”
Rural Aid CEO John Warlters said the donations enabled the charity to continue supporting vulnerable regional and rural communities through periods of adversity.
“Together, we strengthen the prevention, preparedness and recovery work that supports farmers and their families through challenging times,” Warlters said.
The network’s philanthropic efforts extend beyond its partnership with Rural Aid, with more than $1.1 million raised for various causes, including the homelessness charity Dignity and the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.
The Raine & Horne Foundation has also supported international disaster relief initiatives, including CARE Australia’s Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Appeal in February 2023.
