McGrath Estate Agents has created a new role to strengthen the growth potential of its offices in Sydney’s Lower North Shore and Harbourside property markets.
The network has appointed Jon McConkey to the newly created role of head of growth and performance for the group’s six offices across Hunters Hill, Lane Cove, Crows Nest, Willoughby, Mosman, and McMahons Point.
McConkey brings more than 15 years of experience in the property sector, having previously held senior leadership positions at Domain.
He said his decision to align with the network was driven by McGrath’s strong brand presence and growth potential.
“The foundations are already in place, and I’m excited to work alongside the directors, leadership team and agents to help unlock the phase of growth,” McConkey said.
“My focus is on helping our teams perform at their best, creating opportunities for growth and ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.”
Group director and principal John Paranchi said the appointment of McConkey reflected the network’s commitment to supporting its staff.
“At a time when many businesses are reducing investment, we’re taking the opposite approach. We see significant opportunity in the market and remain focused on growing our people, our capabilities and our network,” Paranchi said.
“His track record of building high-performing teams and driving innovation further strengthens the expertise and support available across our business.”
Co-director and principal Tracey Dixon said McConkey would provide the group’s offices with valuable support for business growth and staff development.
“Having known Jon and his family personally for many years, I’ve long admired the way he builds strong relationships, develops great people and creates meaningful outcomes for the businesses he works with,” Dixon said.
“His experience speaks for itself, but it’s his character, values, commitment to excellence, and clear vision for the future that make him such a strong addition to our team.”
