LJ Hooker has strengthened its Central Coast operations, bringing two high-performing local agents into the network to lead the new office.

LJ Hooker has announced the launch of a new Central Coast office, led by two long-term locals with a strong understanding of the diverse client base flowing into the market.

The network has announced the opening of a new Berkeley Vale office, led by recent recruits Volkan Akintetik and Reece Caira.

The pair joined the network from Stone Real Estate, where they specialised in residential sales, investment properties, and luxury waterfront real estate.

The new office will be a family affair for both of its leaders, with Caira’s wife, Jess, and Akintetik’s son, Ethan, and partner, Terry-Anne, all working within the business.

Caira said that having achieved everything they could as salespeople at their previous network, they felt it was time to move on to their next challenge: business ownership.

“To align ourselves with a nationally known brand like LJ Hooker is an exciting step forward for us,” Caira said.

“We looked at many brands, but the point of difference for us is that LJ Hooker is still growing its network and investing in technology, which gave us a lot of confidence going forward.”

LJ Hooker head of growth Jarita Rayasam said the new office would solidify the network’s presence in the popular Central Coast market by leveraging the pair’s experience.

“The Central Coast is a corridor market, and Berkeley Vale was the missing piece of the puzzle for us, and now to have a new office opening there is very exciting,” Rayasam said.

“It allows us to strengthen our existing presence in this key market and continue to build brand exposure and recognition.”

She said that while each office operated as its own business, the brand’s national recognition provided an additional layer of confidence for buyers and sellers.

“They get the local expertise from the best people working in their area, but are also backed by the strength of a trusted name.”

Akintetik said that aligning with the major network would strengthen the office’s ability to serve the region’s diverse property interests.

“The reaction from our clients has been fantastic, and we think that it is because LJ Hooker is already so well known in the market as a trusted company.”

“So, people are excited for us, but also excited for themselves as they are teaming up with a big name.”
