A record number of agents have reached The Agency’s highest performance tier, with one in four established agents also delivering the strongest results of their careers.
This year, 43 The Agency agents reached the Altitude level, the network's highest performance status for sales agents who generate at least $1 million in gross commission income (GCI) or complete 76 or more transactions during the financial year.
The number has more than doubled in three years, rising from 20 agents in 2023 to 37 last year, with 27 of this year's Altitude qualifiers also recording a personal best.
According to The Agency executive chairman Andrew Jensen, the Altitude status was more than simply being the highest earners.
“It represents consistency, discipline and the ability to build a high-performing business over time,” Jensen said.
“To see more agents reaching that level each year is something we are incredibly proud of, particularly because they are doing it across different markets, different price points, and different parts of the country.”
While The Agency grew from 442 to 511 agents, Jensen said the most important result was that 85 property partners who had been with the business for at least two years achieved a personal-best year.
“What matters most is what is happening within the network. Our agents are growing, they are building stronger businesses, and they are achieving more with us than they have before.”
Jensen said the figures showed the company's growth was being driven by more than recruitment alone.
“You can grow agent numbers, but the real test is whether the people who join you become more successful over time.”
“That tells us the platform is working. It tells us the support, leadership and model are helping good agents become even better.”
Across the board, the network also recorded a record $151.7 million in gross commission income in FY2025–26, up from $125.2 million the previous year.
Similarly, exchanged sales volume climbed from $7.435 billion to a record $9.017 billion.
Jensen said the results reflected strong performance across the network rather than the success of a handful of agents or markets.
“Strong businesses are not built around one or two standout performers.”
“They are built when excellence starts to become more widespread; when people can learn from each other and continue raising the standard across the network. We are now seeing more million-dollar performers and more agents building substantial businesses.”
As The Agency moves into the new financial year, Jensen said the focus would remain on helping more agents build stronger, more sustainable businesses.
Jensen said while the record result had given the business confidence, the focus now was on adapting quickly as market conditions evolve.
“Conditions are shifting, buyer and seller expectations are changing, and the pace of the market is becoming more measured.”
“That means we need to keep adapting, stay close to the fundamentals and make sure our agents are equipped to perform in the market in front of them.”
