The network has bolstered its presence in a key regional Victorian property market, launching an office spearheaded by a lifelong local.
McGrath Estate Agents has announced the opening of its new Traralgon office, led by long-time resident Matt Johnson, with more than 15 years of industry experience.
The office, located two hours east of Melbourne, will cover an area from Toongabbie to Jeeralang, Rosedale, and Yarragon, enhancing the network's ability to service key lifestyle markets in the region.
Johnson said his decision to align with the brand was driven by the strength of service he had seen across the network, led by industry veteran John McGrath.
“John McGrath’s vision to improve the standard of service across the entire industry can’t go unnoticed,” Johnson said.
“The brand has pushed real estate standards forward across the entire industry.”
Research by the network ranked the Latrobe local government area (LGA) second on Australia’s east coast for annual sales growth, with transactions rising 39.9 per cent in the year to Q1 2026.
Johnson said the data showed the market had proven to be an attractive option for the full scope of potential buyers.
“Our clients range from local buyers in the normal real estate cycle of first home buyers transitioning to upsizers, aspirational buyers, and eventually downsizers, to those from out of the area.”
