The national real estate brand has bolstered its presence on Australia’s West Coast, appointing an experienced operator focused on building connections within the market.
The Agency has announced the appointment of Beba Ramic to enhance the brand’s services within the Perth property market.
With almost two decades of industry experience across various roles, Ramic joins The Agency from Ray White and will look to leverage her existing relationships in the area under her new banner.
Ramic said that joining The Agency felt like the next progression of her career.
“For me, joining The Agency is an opportunity to combine that local presence with a brand that is modern, aspirational and highly collaborative,” Ramic told REB.
“I have always believed that great real estate is about people first.”
She said that despite the change in network, she will continue to focus on Mosman Park and surrounds in Perth’s eastern suburbs, where she developed a strong connection to the community.
“It is one of those areas where relationships really matter, and that has always appealed to me.”
“It is a market with depth, quality and emotional connection, and that makes it incredibly rewarding to work in.”
Having moved to Australia in 2001, Ramic said her Bosnian and Herzegovinian background has given her a deep appreciation for community and the importance of connection.
“I think that experience shaped the way I relate to people. It gave me warmth, perspective and a strong sense that home means far more than just a physical space,” she said.
“That naturally carries through into the way that I work. I have always believed that real estate is not simply transactional; it is often emotional, significant and deeply personal.”
Ramic said that her approach had led to many referral listings, thanks to her strong connections in the area.
She said that while the Perth market had slowed, it had maintained all of the fundamentals to support continued growth.
“There is still a shortage of quality property, especially family homes, and that is continuing to underpin values in my marketplace.”
“I think well-presented homes in sought-after locations will continue to perform strongly, particularly where there is a compelling lifestyle offering.”
The Agency CEO, Matt Lahood, said that Ramic’s personable approach, work ethic, and attention to detail would be a valuable asset to the brand.
“Beba believes the best results come from a combination of strong marketing, considered strategy, skilled negotiation and genuine relationships,” Lahood said.
