The property platform has strengthened its presence in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs with a new appointment, as it continues its expansion across key Australian property markets.
FOUNDIT has appointed experienced professional George Goldsworthy as its latest partner, strengthening the platform’s presence in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
With more than eight years of experience representing buyers, Goldsworthy has spent her entire career on the purchaser side of the transaction.
In her new role, Goldsworthy said she will continue to manage every stage of the acquisition process, from beginning to end, with a focus on due diligence and relationship building.
She said that one of the biggest mistakes buyers have been making is relying on the advertised price of a listing.
“An asking price forms part of the marketing campaign. My job is to look beyond that and assess a property using genuine comparable sales, current buyer demand and the fundamentals of the asset,” Goldsworthy said.
“That also means being prepared to tell a client when I don’t believe a property represents value, even if it’s not the answer they were hoping for.”
She said that sometimes, the best advice buyer’s agents could give was not to make a purchase.
“Finding the right property has always mattered more to me than simply completing a transaction.”
FOUNDIT founder Angus Ferguson said the appointment of Goldsworthy brings a combination of specialisation and reputation to one of the nation’s most sought-after property markets.
He said that by leveraging FOUNDIT’s technology and national platform, Goldsworthy would be able to deliver stronger results for her clients.
“George has built her practice largely through referral and repeat clients, which speaks volumes about the relationships she builds and the results she delivers,” Ferguson said.
“She has spent eight years representing buyers exclusively in a market where relationships can determine what you get to see and how early you get to see it. Her clients come back, and they refer their friends and family.”
The platform said the appointment formed part of its continued expansion across key Australian property markets, with a focus on experienced local buyer reputation.
