First National has announced the opening of a new office in Melbourne’s east, led by a longtime local with strong community ties.
The network has launched First National Stone & Associates in Heathmont, led by industry veteran and local agent Shane Stone.
After a career in finance, Stone began his real estate journey at age 31 and has since gained experience across property management, private sales and auctions.
After three decades in the industry, Stone said that opening his own office had been a long-time ambition.
“Owning a real estate agency in the community I call home has been a goal for most of my life,” Stone said.
He said his connection to the community had been built from an early age through school, football and the local ties established by his parents, which he planned to continue through the new franchise.
“I want this agency to be known for its involvement in Heathmony, its accessibility and the trust it earns from locals.”
He said the network’s cooperative structure and support made it a natural fit for launching his agency.
“First National members share knowledge and help each other, while each agency remains independently owned and closely connected to its local community,” he said
“That gives us the support of a national network without losing the personal accountability that comes with running a local business.”
Stone said the new office would focus on delivering its service through communication, practical advice and follow-through.
“Good service begins with doing the basics properly. We will return calls, keep clients informed and make every interaction as straightforward as possible.”
