Cushman & Wakefield bolstered its investment sales team in Sydney by appointing an experienced professional, strengthening the business’s transactional capability.
The commercial property network has appointed Jack McGregor as manager, investment sales NSW.
McGregor joined the network from his role as senior executive, investment sales at Colliers, where he gained experience across retail, office and development sites in Sydney’s commercial market.
The network said the appointment came as it continued to expand its capability in Sydney’s growing commercial property sector.
Cushman & Wakefield national director and co-head of investment sales Miron Solomons said the experience and relationships developed by McGregor would complement the existing team.
“Jack brings strong transactional experience, established relationships and a detailed understanding of Sydney’s metropolitan market,” Solomons said.
“He has built a strong track record across a diverse range of asset classes and has demonstrated an ability to work closely with both private and institutional clients to deliver strong outcomes.”
In addition to his focus in Sydney’s investment market, McGregor will work closely with investment sales teams nationwide.
Cushman & Wakefield international director and head of investment sales, NSW, Matt Pontey said McGregor’s appointment reflected the firm’s focus on building depth in the Sydney market.
“Jack is joining at an important time for the market, as transaction activity begins to build and capital becomes increasingly active,” Pontey said.
“His experience across Sydney’s CBD and metropolitan markets adds another dimension to the team.”
McGregor said that he had joined the network at a time of significant opportunity in the capital’s commercial sector.
“As transaction activity builds, I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and relationships to the team, working with clients and collaborating with colleagues nationally as we move into the next phase of the cycle.”
