Women making their mark across Australia’s real estate industry have been recognised, with 161 finalists named in the return of the Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Awards.

Returning for the first time since 2021, the Women in Real Estate Awards spotlight women and teams shaping the industry across agency leadership, sales, property management, commercial, and mentoring.

In total, the 2026 edition received 250 submissions, with 161 finalists shortlisted across 21 individual and group categories.

Individual finalists include representatives from McGrath, Jellis Craig, Barry Plant, First National, Belle Property, and Colliers, alongside independent agencies and buyers’ agencies.

Group finalists include Barry Plant, TRACit, REMAX The Limitless Group, Century 21 Pereira Group, Harris Real Estate and The Rental Network.

The awards recognise individual and team achievements, including women in leadership, sales, auctioneering, commercial real estate, and mentoring, as well as group initiatives in innovation, property management, sales, training and development, and workplace wellbeing.

The 2026 WIRE Awards are proudly backed by principal partner Domain, with AML Partners and Trustport supporting the program as gold partners.

Domain VP Product Dani Harmer said innovation in real estate was driven not only by technology but by its people.

“Across every corner of the industry, women are leading teams, transforming customer experiences, embracing new ways of working and helping shape the future of our profession,” Harmer told REB.

Harmer said that throughout his career, he has witnessed the impact that strong female leaders can have on businesses, teams and culture.

“Their ability to challenge thinking, drive innovation and bring diverse perspectives to decision-making doesn't just benefit organisations; it helps strengthen our entire industry.

“The Women in Real Estate Awards provide an important opportunity to recognise those making a meaningful impact and to celebrate the leaders challenging conventions, inspiring others and raising the standard of our industry.”

He said Domain was proud to support the WIRE initiative and encouraged the next generation of women to pursue leadership opportunities across real estate, technology and business.

With the finalists now announced, attention turns to the winners, who will be revealed at a black-tie gala at Hilton Sydney on Thursday, 26 November 2026.

The ceremony will bring together professionals from across Australia to recognise the women and businesses making their mark on the real estate industry.
