WA-based agent Brent Spooner, from LJ Hooker in Bunbury, entered the real estate industry seven years ago at a time when those around him were calling it the “worst market that they had seen”. Year-on-year the statement would be recounted, but with no experience in a so-called “good market”, Brent looks upon it as simply business as usual.

In this episode of Secrets of the Top 100 Agents, Brent joins host Tim Neary to reveal how he placed eighth in the 2018 REB Dealmakers ranking, discuss the importance of a strong referral network and explain why he believes that the WA property market is finally turning around.

Brent will also share:

  • The early mistakes he made that shaped his success today
  • How he builds a lucrative client base through positive networking
  • Why being sensitive to the needs of the vendor is good business practice
