We began in Melbourne in 2002, born from the challenges faced by Melissa Karatjas, when seeking a new Real Estate role after returning to the Australia with over 12 years of property sales and management experience in both Australia and the UK. Frustrated by recruiters who didn't understand her skill set, internal hr consultants who didn't have the time to see her and the high turnover of poorly skilled and inappropriate staff she saw how current recruitment and consulting practices were hurting the industry and identified a gap in the market. Knowing that people are the number one resource in any business, Melissa enlisted the help of Trish Payne who shared the same notion of bringing Talent to Businesses with Passion, Honesty and Integrity. Hence Real Estate Career Developers was born, with a dedication to clients and candidates stemming from old fashion values of building Quality Relationships.
In 2010, Fiona Blayney joined forces with Melissa to bring Real Estate Career Developers to Sydney, extending our service to not only Recruitment, but "Strategic People Consultancy and Development". As People Consultants, we work with you to create structure for growth, and procure the talent to make it happen.
