One Airbnb property management company has announced its launch in Adelaide, heralding the South Australian hotspot as one of Australia’s rising tourism destinations.
Hometime will open in Adelaide, after the recent appointment of Richard Bartlett as the company’s first hosting partner there.
Co-founder and COO William Crock said the Adelaide launch marks an important milestone for the VC-backed start-up, which recorded a 750 per cent revenue growth in the last 18 months.
“We’re delighted to announce our latest expansion in Adelaide,” he said.
“We have witnessed an incredible spike in tourism in the city, and we feel that now is the perfect time to bring Hometime to the market. Along with the growing tourism industry in the city, we believe that we have found the perfect Adelaide advocate in the shape of Richard, who will be an incredible asset to the business given his expert knowledge in the space.
“In addition to Richard’s commencement, we continue to work closely with Airbnb as an official partner in the region, to aid our expansion. Our sophisticated technology enables us to consistently deliver exceptional service as we scale rapidly and open up more markets.”
Hometime Adelaide hosting partner Richard Bartlett said Adelaide marks the next important chapter for the Hometime journey.
“The city is experiencing a wave of expansion, from retail to tourism, and it’s clear to everyone here that there is a great sense of growth and opportunity.
“I’m fortunate to be part of this new era, and look forward to pursuing the untapped potential of the local property market. As there are limited property management services in the city, we’re excited to offer above-market returns and ensure our local hosts have an unrivalled rental experience.”
Mr Bartlett said that Hometime assists hosts by enabling them to put their Airbnb properties on “autopilot” by handling all aspects of the hosting experience.
