An experienced property management leader will join the brand’s Lower North Shore arm.

BresicWhitney has welcomed Amanda Freeman as the business development executive for their growing Lower North Shore team.

The news comes in the wake of a tide of new appointments for their northside branch in 2023, including Guido Scatizzi and Anna Chen, as the boutique real estate group prepares to open its new Mosman office.

Freeman’s appointment will also bring the BresicWhitney business development team to a 50-50 gender balance, one month after the brand achieved an equal gender balance in their executive team – a significant step given that the real estate sector as a whole continues to grapple with a 25.7 per cent pay gap.

Freeman brings with her a decade-long career in property management, including senior roles at McGrath, DiJones and Atlas. A Lower North Shore local, Freeman is keen to leverage her experience in the area’s local property market to expand BresicWhitney’s investor client base.

“Amanda is very well-regarded and for good reason,” said chief executive officer, Thomas McGlynn.

“Not only does she have the experience and skills that will complement our team, but she understands the journey we’re on to building a meaningful presence on the Lower North Shore and across Sydney’s key harbourside suburbs,” he remarked.

In addition to expanding horizons for the Lower North Shore team, Freeman will work closely with the group’s wider property management team and transactional agents to “identify and deliver outcomes”.

“Amanda will add exceptional value to BresicWhitney and we are committed to nurturing this exciting next phase of her career,” said McGlynn.

The brand’s head of property management, Chantelle Collin, echoed the CEO’s sentiment, describing Freeman as a “strategic thinker with an ability to deliver meaningful business growth and exceptional outcomes”.

“Adding to that is her understanding of the benefits of holistic portfolio management, being not just a service that’s delivered, but being a partner to clients across the property life cycle,” Collin said. “It’s a delight to welcome her to the team.”

According to Freeman, one of the draws of her new role is the opportunity it offers to venture into uncharted waters.

“I chose BresicWhitney because they are not just a real estate company; they are a team of innovators, creatives and visionaries. I am excited to join them in redefining the real estate experience and making a meaningful impact in the industry,” Freeman said.
