Belle Property and Hockingstuart have announced the appointment of a new head of property management, as the combined brands look to strengthen their reputation in the sector.
Fabian Ekker brings 24 years of industry experience to the role, having worked across systems development as well as the onboarding of new and existing franchise offices within the network.
Since joining the network in 2023, he has managed large-scale rent rolls and played a key role in developing and refining the national property management systems.
Belle Property and Hockingstuart said Ekker’s appointment reflects his leadership and expertise within the business.
Chief executive officer Nick Boyd said Ekker is the ideal leader to oversee the property management department’s growth and strengthen the network’s reputation.
“His dedication, strategic thinking and commitment to excellence have already made a lasting impact across the network,” Boyd said.
“I have no doubt that, under his guidance, our PM teams will continue to thrive and deliver exceptional service to our clients.”
Ekker said his new role would see him working on the systems he had already put in place.
“I’m thrilled to be stepping into this position and continuing to work alongside such a passionate, capable group of professionals.
“Property management is a key pillar of Belle Property and Hockingstuart’s business, and I’m excited to keep building on the strong foundations we have in place,” Ekker said.
It comes just weeks after Belle Property announced the opening of a new office in Mollymook and Milton to meet growing demand in NSW’s South Coast.
The new office will be headed by Belle Property Batemans Bay principal Sarah Ralston, who boasts over 20 years of experience.
Ralston, a local who has called the region home for over 35 years, noted that the Mollymook and Milton areas have seen an increase in demand from local and interstate investors, leading to steady growth in the property market.
She said the new office would enable the Belle Property network to better service the region amid this growth period.
“The area attracts a diverse mix of buyers, including retirees and lifestyle seekers, as well as those from Sydney and Canberra looking for weekenders or tree-change escapes,” Ralston said.
“Recent sales have highlighted the area’s growing reputation as a premium coastal destination, and Belle Property’s client-first, premium approach aligns perfectly with that.”
