Australia’s property management elite took centre stage as the first-ever REB Property Management Excellence (PMX) Awards crowned its winners for 2025 – marking a defining moment for the industry.
Held on Thursday, 27 November at Ilumina, Sydney, the landmark event brought together more than 330 of the nation’s top property management professionals for an unforgettable night of celebration, recognition, and industry pride.
This prestigious celebration provided property managers with their own national platform to be celebrated for their professionalism, passion, and performance – with 30 winners announced from a competitive field of over 220 outstanding finalists.
Launched by Real Estate Business (REB), the Property Management Excellence Awards are designed to set a new benchmark for recognition across the sector, shining a spotlight on the individuals, offices, and networks that elevate the property management profession nationwide.
“Tonight marks a turning point for property management. These awards are more than trophies – they’re about honouring the people who make this industry exceptional,” said Liam Garman, managing editor of REB.
With over 20 award categories across individual and group honours, the PMX Awards celebrated every corner of the profession – from business development managers and leasing agents to property managers and rising stars who are shaping the industry’s future.
Individual winners included Tara Di Manno, taking home the Property Manager of the Year - Metro award and Jodi Ford earning the prestigious Excellence Award among many more noteworthy individuals, while the group awards recognised excellence in team culture, growth strategy, community engagement, tenant relations, and landlord experience – with standout performances from STRUD Property, Cunninghams Real Estate, Birdie Property, Besser + Co Real Estate, Harcourts Adelaide Hills Property Management, and many more.
Taking the mic as emcee, Mark Humphries kept the energy high throughout the evening with humour, insight, and celebration befitting the industry’s most exciting new awards program.
The PMX Awards 2025 have not only spotlighted the profession’s best but also paved the way for future recognition – giving property managers across Australia a stage that’s truly their own.
